Mexican Riviera Disney Cruise

I get excited just hearing the word "Disney", I love the fairy tales, the world of imagination and it was awesome to go on a Disney cruise during the most magical time of the year!

It was no secret to the kiddos that we were going on a cruise, we had talked to them about it for months before.  The ship was called the "Disney Wonder", it is a 7 day cruise leaving LA stopping in Puerto Vallarta for one day, and Cabo San Lucas for two days then returning home.
We flew in the night before the boat sailed and we stayed the night in a hotel.

In the morning we received a call from Mickey Mouse telling the kiddos that they were going on their cruise to the Mexican Riviera and that he would see them soon!
We were able to board the boat, take a stroll around the ship and we checked out our room!

The fun part about our cruise, was that we had great company, the Crosbie's joined us too!  Except they did not tell their kids about the cruise.  Amy's parents live in California and they flew down a couple of days before we set sail to visit them.  Their little girls thought that they were on their way back to the airport  to go home, but were taking a detour to the harbor to see the boats since they had time before their plane departed.  Kiera was making comments that she wished they could go on a cruise and that she would ask how much the tickets were.  Little did they know that they were about to board the Disney Cruise for 7 days!
One last surprise for their girls was who would be joining them for their adventures!  Our rooms were connected so when the Crosbie's got in their room they had the girls open the door and knock to see what would happen.  Lo and behold, two Knowles kids opened the other door and walked right in!
Then it was time to get the party started, we headed to the top deck for the sail away party!

One of the best sounds ever is the sound of the horn of a cruise, it means that the boat is leaving!  Right at the end of the party the horn sounded but to my surprise it sounded in the tune of "when you wish upon a star".  It became my favorite sound!
We decided to pay a visit to the kids club, where Bryson would be able to visit whenever he chose to.
Kendyl quickly became attached to this little slide!

Bryson quickly found something much bigger!

Kendyl has become quite the artist lately, she loves coloring.
(I had pen marks on my couch to prove it)
Each evening before dinner there was a show in the Walt Disney Theatre.  This night they had one about a boy going on a Cruise where of course Mickey Mouse and his gang and the Princesses made appearances in!
We had the late seating for dinner so it began at 8:15pm.  We have the same servers throughout the whole trip and they follow us from restaurant to restaurant as we eat in different restaurants each night.  Our servers were Alvito from India, and Horie from the Philippines.  They were beyond awesome servers!!

Our first night we ate at "Animator's Palate", the walls and even the vests of the servers start out white and as each part of the dinner is served a little more color is added on the walls until the whole room is in full color.  The server's vests flipped inside out to reveal color as well.

Ellie having a little sip!
A little more color being added!

Then Mickey Mouse showed up for some fun!

The kids had a few different options for dessert, but they always got the mickey mouse ice cream bars.  They were very messy, but by the looks of it they must have been very worth it!

Alvito made a flower for Kendyl out of her children's menu!
Then made a little frog for Bryson!
We returned to our room for the night and found a rabbit on our bed!
Bryson also noticed that the curtain was closed and wanted to see what was behind it.
The beds were turned down!  Bryson's bed was pulled down from the ceiling and the couch was turned into Kendyl's bed!
Kendyl was excited to have a big girl bed of her own!
(rails were added before going to bed)
Bryson was very happy to have a bunk bed!
The night was complete with a pair of Mickey jammie's...
and Minnie one's for the little one!
It didn't stop her from wanting to follow her brother!
That was the start of our exciting week!
