So long house

 

We closed on the house yesterday, cleared out the rest of our stuff and I have this afternoon to clean a little and lock up.

The kiddos went to play over at the Wilson's house while I finished up with the house. 

I got a text notifying me of all the paperwork having gone through and that we were home free, my clue that it's time to leave. 

Just then all the kiddos came over and ran around the house and the empty rooms screaming.  

 I took a couple last pictures of our empty home, then closed the door behind me.  I can't even explain how sad and bitter sweet it is to walk away from something that you loved for so long.

The whole experience was surreal.  The kiddos all ran back across the street to play at the Wilson's and I moved my car across the street just in case the new owner arrived.  Sure enough within ten minutes the new owner arrived and began moving in.  My heart was sad, yet relieved that it was all behind us now. I rounded up the kiddos, walked across the street for one last mail box check and we pulled away.

It's so sad to think that I can't walk back into that house again, but many new memories are ahead in our forever home!

 

Clearing out the house

We are at the tail end of moving out of the house.  Today our swing set gets taken down to go to our friends house, the kiddos enjoyed their last swings!

Only a very few things remain in the house, it's getting empty.

 

Preschool Graduation!

It's so sad to think that Bryon's Preschool years are over. He loved his school, his friends and his teacher!

They sang songs that they learned throughout the year!

SLC & Bee's game

 

Our Niece Amanda was blessing her baby on Sunday so Grandma & Grandpa joined us and spent the night in Salt Lake City the night before.  Grandpa joined us for a Bee's game (his first Bee's game ever)! After the fun game and indulging in all the yummy treats we were able to go for a late night swim before calling it a night!

Trip to the Mall

 

I can still envision Kendyl refusing to go with me into the store Children's Place because she wanted to play in the play area.  She stood in the entrance of the store with her arms folded and a scowl on her little face all while I shopped.  After I was done and we were walking toward the play area I was surprised when Kendyl quickly changed her mind about playing and wanted to eat Pretzels instead.  I gave her the option of one or the other and Pretzels won!

The Wilson's have about the same aged kiddos as Bryson and Kendyl and have been the best play mates for them both!

Each day while the younger girls both napped I would get a text from Nichole asking Bryson to go over and play with Cooper.  They would play for hours and always had something different to do like playing with monster trucks, dressing up in their super hero costumes and today it was playing in the sprinklers!

Bryson is always looking out his bedroom window looking for another opportunity to play with Cooper!

Mother's Day!

Mother's Day is almost like any other Sunday with the exception of seeing cute Bryson go up to the stand with the Primary to sing all the Mom's a song!  Seeing him up there just melts my heart!  It's also fun to see the kiddos excitedly walk up to me with their hand made card beaming from ear to ear, along with a gift card to the spa!

We went to Elements for their Mother's Day Brunch which is always an awesome meal!

I am so grateful to be a Momma to these two kiddos!  I love them so so much!

Tulips!

 I love tulips in the spring!  I planted giant tulips years ago and anxiously wait every spring for them to bloom, they are so pretty!

 

It has been fun creating and designing our yard, I have had to learn a lot about plants, tree's etc. but it's nice to see everything come together over the years!

 

I was glad to be able to watch everything bloom one last time before we moved out of our home!
