Falling asleep behind the wheel

Kendyl is usually very excited to get a car shopping cart and is a great driver for me as we go grocery shopping.
While I was shopping I noticed she was quiet, too quiet.  Then I realized why.

Luckily the car was in park.

Hanging out after church!

Men's Trip 2012

Brady went to Saint George to do what he loves!

Brady, Darrin, Matt and Jason went down to play a total of 90 holes of golf in three days!
Being able to golf when there is snow back at home would make anyone happy!

Sharing with Sissy!

Bryson seems to always have some sort of snack in his hand when I pick him up from school.  I am guessing that they pass these out for them to eat while they wait for us to arrive.
It has been so cute to hear Bryson say each day that he is saving his treat to share with Sissy. Kendyl is usually asleep in her car seat when we pick him up, but as soon as she wakes up Bryson will make sure to give her the treat!
His treat today was one of those orange jelly candies that is covered with sugar.  It wasn't exactly something that is meant to be shared and I told him that he could eat the whole thing himself, but he didn't want to.  He made sure to only eat half.
Kendyl is one lucky little girl!

The hiding spot!

Out of the blue we had the remote to the living room TV missing yesterday.  I looked everywhere for it and Brady finally found it in Bryson's drawer in his room.  I was surprised that it would end up there, but didn't think much of it.
Well today I was picking up a few toys and thought that a good place to store his buzz flashlight would be in his nightstand so I opened it and was surprised at what I found.
He had hid his time out pad in the drawer.  I didn't even know it was missing but was laughing at what may have been going through his mind when he decided to hide it.
Bryson caught me taking a picture of his drawer and quickly covered up his loot.
I guess it really is his hiding spot!

So peaceful

It has become a tradition to lay Kendyl on my bed after her baths!
If I have something that catches her attention on TV then she will keep still, nice and warm in her towel. She stays in the same spot as I get her clothes and diaper gathered together.  She is so relaxed that I am able to get her clothes on, and get her hair fixed all at once in a matter of minutes!
She always looks so peaceful!

Family night with the Hoth's!

We went out to dinner at Winger's and bowling with the Hoth's!  Rhonda wasn't feeling well so she stayed home to rest, missed you Rhonda.
The service was VERY slow, but the kiddos didn't seem to mind one bit.
Kendyl liked the bowl of popcorn so much that she had to get the last of the crumbs out!
Bella!

Take a look at these natural smiles, I will take what I can get!

Bryson bowling!

Rory bowling!
Halli bowling!

Brady's turn!

These two girls had fun running all around and copying each other.
Simon says...
lets get down!
Thank you Hoth's for a fun night!

Family outing

We went with Brady to get his new driver tested out!
The kiddos were more than entertained in the store.

Riley was playing basketball close by that evening so we burned some time at the mall letting the kiddos play!
Bryson as a newscaster.
 Go Riley!
Brady decided to take Bryson across the gym to let him have room to walk around.  It was just what he needed.

Another win for Skyview!

A job well done!

A month ago Brady decided to see if Bryson would be OK without his bed rails, and he was!  We have taken the rails down and now it was time for Bryson to learn how to make his bed.  I told him that we would give him a quarter each day that he cleans his room and makes his bed.
Here is his first day of work!

Not too bad for the first time, I did great to refrain from adjusting it too!

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

I was right in the middle of a Relief Society presidency meeting when Bryson made himself dizzy and projected himself straight into the side of the couch.
By the evening his right side of his face swelled up.  Luckily he was pretty cooperative and held ice to his nose.
You would think that he would have learned his lesson but I still have to remind him of his owie when I catch him spinning in circles.
I guess it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.... then it's fun and games again!
Oh boy.

Happy Birthday Brady!

I put this present up on the entertainment center a couple of days before Brady's birthday just for anticipation!
I gave Brady and the kids rules that no one was to touch it, move it, pick it up etc.
(One of my first Christmas' with Brady, he picked up one of his gifts, shook it, then said "you got me golf balls!".  I will never again leave a gift around without giving the "no touching, moving, picking up" lecture.)
The BCS Championship game landed on the night of Brady's birthday, so he wanted to stay home to watch the game.
So we ordered take out from Winger's and had an indoor picnic!
Time for dessert!

I was prepared with enough candles, but we thought a bushel of fire wouldn't exactly be a great idea. So we put a row of three and a row of five candles instead.

The suspense was over, it was time to open his present!
The kiddos were more than willing to help unwrap!
Come to find out there was only a note inside.
It mentioned how much we love Brady and how he is a great husband and father, then it said that he needed to close his eyes!
I got Bryson into place...
then we told him to open his eyes!
A new driver!
Brady was very surprised!
I knew we hit the nail right on with this gift when Brady was asking how I knew he'd want one!
Bryson wasn't about to let the gift giving end and before we knew it we heard "I have got a gift for you"!
Bryson gave Daddy his prized little stuffed animals!
Happy Birthday Brady!
