A room of her own!

I have been filling out Kendyl's baby book and one of the pages asks for pictures of her room. I was surprised that I hadn't taken any as of yet. Here is how her nursery looks!

Anniversary at the lake!

Brady and I celebrated our 9th Anniversary on the 17th of August. This day was also the start of the annual Bear Lake trip Brady's family does each summer! So we met up at Bear Lake to swim, eat, play at the beach, golf, and we even managed to visit the fun little stores they have!
A few of my beautiful nieces!

Although Kendyl didn't get in the water and practically slept the whole time we were at the beach, she did manage to dress for the occasion!

Here are the boys looking for sea shells and playing!

Cute nieces again!

Our little getaway!

A few weeks ago we packed up our little family and headed down to Salt Lake City! We only stayed one day but managed to get some shopping, good eating, a baseball game, and swimming in while we were there. It was so relaxing to just be out of our normal routine and we didn't even have to get on a plane to do it! I do not have pictures of my shopping adventures, however I did manage to capture most of everything else.

First was the Bees game! I can't tell you who the players were in my action pictures but I can say they were on the Bees team.

Bryson watching a little bit of the game!

I tried paying my full attention to the game, it's hard to do when I know there are yummy treats walking from row to row. So I kept my eyes on these babies!
I did manage to snag a bag for myself!
Then it was off to the Little America Hotel. The room had two balconies and Bryson had a blast running from one to the other. He also couldn't resist the urge to throw things off the balconies. He'd peel paint off from the balcony and throw it over. Boys will be boys!
Our view of the Bees field from the room.
The fountains from the room.
The next morning Brady took Bryson swimming.
Little Kendyl was still sleeping when we were ready to leave the room so I did not change her into her swim suit. But who am I to deny her the chance to relax by the pool side! It was so relaxing that she was about to fall asleep again!

After swimming we packed up, ate at the hotel's brunch buffet and headed home. It was such a fun little getaway!

The boys and the girls!

One thing that's for sure around this house is if Daddy's home, Bryson will be right by his side. They are like two peas in a pod and for years I have referred to them as "the boys". When they leave I say "bye boys", or "hi boys" when they walk into the room. It is so fun to see how close they are and how much Bryson looks up to Brady. Now that Kendyl has arrived I have been taken back when I hear Brady call us "the girls". Hearing that will take some getting used to, but it is fun to have my little girl and be called the girls!!

Pioneer Day!

One of Utah's state holidays is Pioneer Day! We celebrate this day on the 24th of July which is when the first group of Mormon pioneers arrived in Salt Lake City. Lucky for Bryson it's another opportunity to do fireworks! We invited our neighbors over and the kids had a blast!

Kiera connected a long rope of glow in the dark necklaces and began swinging them around, it became an awesome picture!

Cooper was perfectly content staying behind the scenes!

Our growing family!

It was time to update our family picture! Our friend Scott Haueter agreed to take on the task and he did a great job! Here are a few of the pictures that came from the photo shoot.
