Fallin' for fall!

It's hard to believe that over eleven years ago I had no idea that my beautiful valley I live in now even existed. Surrounded by the most beautiful mountains, where we enjoy every season! Fall is by far my most favorite time of the year! My eyes try to scope everything in view when I drive down a street that is lined with large trees. The tree colors are so bright that you'd think that it could only be found in a painting. A friend of mine, Rhonda and I ventured out one afternoon last week to capture what mother nature had to offer!
Bryson saying how high the tree's are!

Pumpkin walk!

There is an annual Pumpkin walk held every year where everything is done voluntarily and using pumpkins. It's amazing how creative and talented people are. Here are only a few of the pictures that I took!
Toy Story!
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs!
Snow White and the seven dwarfs!
The Flintstones!
Snoopy!
(He totally reminds me of my Aunt Yazmin who loved snoopy growing up!)
One of my all time favorite shows, the Muppet Babies!
Sponge Bob!
(with Mr. I don't want to smile)
I found someone else to give me the smiles!
Up!
I had to add this picture of Bryson scarfing down the cookies he was given at the end of the pumpkin walk, he even ate the one's I had been given in no time at all!

4 months old!

At four months old Kendyl loves to be held and cuddled. She likes to be where the action is, she will whine when we are having dinner just so that she can join us at the table! She is very mellow and is often just content looking at her surroundings. She loves the taste of her fingers!

Kendyl has also recently discovered her little piggies!
Only four months old, but she sure has the sweetest personality!

Doctor check-up

Bryson's 3 year check-up and Kendyl's 4 month check-up landed at the same time so I was able to take both of them in during the same visit. It's a big change going for two kids. Our pediatrician's office does hand prints for the kids to take home along with their stats and for babies they do their foot prints. Their Doctor also took a shot at drawing the two kids, I'd say he did a good job!
Bryson is still not on the growth chart but he has his own curve of growth that he has followed. Since he met his own curve once again he was good to go.
Kendyl's drawing has the peacock hair and the bow, I'd say it looks just like her!

Pumpkin pickin'

I was excited to find a farm that we can pick our own pumpkin so we made it a play date!
It's a little tricky letting the kids go out and pick which ever pumpkin they wanted, in the back of our minds we are hoping that they pick a nice one! Just in case they get attached to their pumpkin you at least want it to be a pretty one. Thankfully Bryson chose well and we ended up taking four pumpkins home!

Our wagon, with Kendyl fast asleep in the carseat.

Here is a group shot of the kids, minus three babies.

Cute Chloe was kind enough to offer her hand in picture taking! The camera is backwards but hey, I won't tell if you won't!

Kendyl woke up in time for some pictures and she is loving the taste of her hands lately!

Keeping balanced!

Kendyl has her own little spot on our sectional couch. Right in the middle where it bends is a perfect spot that will keep her upright. The other day I sat her in her spot while I did a few things and I walked back into the room to see her like this:
Her little bum was sliding down the couch and all she could do was stretch out her legs to keep from slipping any further.

It was a pretty funny sight!

3 year pictures

We drove up the canyon to take Bryson's 3 year old pictures! I can't believe that he is already 3, time goes by way too fast. We love you little guy!
Bryson currently loves listening to music, jumping on couches or beds, playing on the computer, being in charge of the remote, going to sleep late, ringing the door bell, chasing after Sabin, singing the ABC's, counting, playing hide and go seek, talking on the phone, putting money in his basketball bank, drinking anything that is carbonated and calls it "coca". He loves to rumble with Brady and when Brady pretends to cry, Bryson will run to me to tell me that "Daddy's cryning". Yes, cryning is how he says it and I love the way it sounds so much that I don't want to correct him. He loves to eat all the marshmallows out of the box of Lucky Charms and eats almost everything with ketchup. His all time favorite song is "I gotta feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas and if you belt out "I gotta feeling" from any where in the house I can guarantee you will hear a little voice sing "whoo, whoo". Bryson is full of energy and I can't imagine how boring life must have been before he joined our family!

Bryson turns 3!

This is the first year Bryson really understood that it was his birthday! All I heard about for weeks leading up to his birthday was that he wanted a Mickey Mouse cake and balloons. We celebrated with family the Sunday before his birthday!

When Bryson first started unwrapping his presents he was tearing the wrapping paper off in tiny pieces. It could have been a very long night, but he quickly got the ball rolling.
Bryson was perfectly content checking out his new Mickey Mouse DVD when he heard the reactions from everyone when they saw Brady bringing in another present. Bryson glanced over to see what it was, got a big smile, and climbed down from the chair to go check it out!

Bryson jumped on, gave us a "see-ya-later" look, and was off!

Tuesday, October 5th started off with the balloons Bryson wanted and even a phone call from Mickey Mouse himself!

Bowling time! The Crosbie's joined us for some bowling and ice cream to celebrate the night!

Brady explained the game the best he could to Bryson and he was ready to play!

Bryson's hopeful look as he watches his bowling ball!
Hmm, not any more.
He may need more practice!

Ellie's turn to bowl! What this picture doesn't show is just how very, very slow the bowling ball is moving.

It can take some pretty good patience to wait for these bowling balls!
Thank you everyone for all of the birthday wishes and gifts, Bryson had a blast!
