Bryson has been trying to pronounce everything he says lately.  He will pick a word then try to figure out what letter it starts with.

{GNO} Girls night out!

I was watching TV right when four of my girlfriends showed up to take me to the movies to celebrate my birthday!!
I had been wanting to see "The Vow" and that was the exact movie we went to see.

It was such a good movie, one that makes you cry.  Except I didn't let myself cry and it just caused my throat to hurt, I should have just cried.

We stopped at Casper's after for some shakes!!  It has since gone out of business, boo.

I can't even fully explain how much I love hanging out with my friends!  I have grown and learned so much about myself through our many times together.  We can all sit and talk and laugh for hours on end.  We have had many times where we are pretty much kicked out of the restaurant because we have stayed past closing, only to then stay in our cars talking even longer.   I look forward to each GNO and to be surprised knowing that you are going with your friends right that second is the best feeling! 

 Thank you girls for your friendships I cherish it more than you girls know!

30th Birthday weekend

Brady planned a night away for my birthday! 
 His parents came over to tend the kiddos and we took off to Salt Lake City for a night.  We had been talking about wanting to eat at Tepanyaki for a few months so after shopping for a little bit, that is where we headed!

It was just as yummy as we thought it would be!!

We then went to the Jazz vs. Wizards game!

Cell phone pictures were the best I could get, I had my camera stashed in my purse but with such close seats there was no way I wouldn't get caught using it.

We stayed the night at the Grand America!  It is so, so pretty.  The bathroom is amazing, but I would hate to be the one to clean it.

The next morning I was able to get a massage at the spa and enjoy their pool!

After getting ready for the day we went shopping a little more, went to lunch then came back home to our kiddos!!

It was such an awesome way to spend a birthday, and the texts and phone calls from friends and family made it all the better.  I am so thankful for everyone in my life!

Valentine's Day!

I was looking forward to Valentine's since I knew Brady and I would be going to dinner with a group of friends!  We had dinner at Elements again this year with 5 other couples, the Jeppesen's, Wimmer's, Hoth's, Allen's, and the Akin's! 
We were given our own little room which is always nice so that we can hear each other.  When we spend 3 hours eating dinner you know that there has to be some interesting conversation topics with a ton of laughs!  For memories sake the topics that come to mind are alpacas, Calculus 3, being rich (in the 1%), and getting massages in India! 

With how much fun these dinners have been I will definitely be looking forward to this every year!

  

We got home and gave the kiddos their Valentine's gifts!

They both got a puppy stuffed animal with candy inside of big balloons!

 Kendyl immediately started rolling all over her balloon, it was so funny to watch!

 She would pick it up and carry it all over as well!

 Bryson was eager to get into his balloon, so Daddy did the honors!

This new puppy was bigger and didn't have the little beads inside like the others do, so I didn't think he would get attached to it. Well he did, and now has 4 puppies that he sleeps with. My puppy buying days are over, that or he will need a bigger bed.

 I was thinking that Kendyl would be interested in popping her balloon too, but I looked over and saw her having another wrestle mania 2012 so that answered that question.

Valentine's Party!

We had a little Valentine's party at church.  First thing the kiddos did was decorate their own sugar cookies!

 We cleaned up their treat then set up for the valentine exchange!

It was so fun to see the different boxes or baskets everyone made to hold their goodies!

I found this cute basket for Kendyl then added the white hearts on the sides for her name.

I had the hardest time deciding what to do for Bryson's valentine's box.  I ended up decorating each side of a box with things that Bryson loves!

Last but definitely not least we had to have a Buzz Lightyear side!

 Bryson's valentine he exchanged were cute little iphones made from conversation heart boxes!

Kendyl's valentines were little containers of playdoh.
