Easter!

I am not sure that Bryson understood the concept of Easter but he was sure ready to take part in all the fun of it! After having a flash back of last years egg dyeing fiasco with Bryson tipping over the blue dye on himself and our rug, I found a solution. I read of putting the egg inside a whisk, that way he can dunk the egg in which ever color he chooses by himself. There was no need to have me hovering over him with a tiny little wire scooper doing a balancing act, with the egg surely getting the best of me. Bryson caught on fast and was an egg dyeing pro, he's up for hire too!

Next were the Easter egg hunts! Bryson's favorite part was finding the eggs, not so much the candy that was inside. He got his fair share of egg hunts this year, four in all. Some in colder weather than others, but he still managed to find a good amount of eggs each time!

His Easter basket/sand bucket!

That Easter Bunny hides eggs pretty well!

Finding eggs at Grandma (Ma) & Grandpa (Caca) Knowles' house!

Yes, Bryson calls his Grandpa Knowles "Caca", it's his terminology not ours. It is still kind of funny to hear it!

Taste the rainbow!

Skittles have become a hot commodity in our home. They just so happen to be Bryson's most favorite type of candy! So there wasn't a more perfect reward to give Bryson each time he goes potty. Yep, Bryson is potty trained! He still seems so little to me, but it's so cute to see his little chicken legs running around in underwear. I'll spare you those pictures, but leave you with him enjoying his favorite treat!

Disney on Ice!

Bryson and I went to see Disney on Ice with the Crosbie's! Bryson is a BIG Mickey Mouse fan and he would have been really entertained if the whole show was with Mickey Mouse! He was interested in Lightning McQueen but everything else he passed on. Maybe next year he will pay more attention to it and like it as much as I do! I even managed to refrain from buying cotton candy while we were there and that is a HUGE accomplishment for me! Partly because I still had a little bit of cotton candy left over from the Jazz game waiting for me at home, but still, the temptation to have more was hard to resist!

Go Jazz!

We were offered tickets to see the Utah Jazz play against the Houston Rockets. It was Bryson's first professional basketball game and he did as good as a two year old can. He especially loved getting a pair of thunder sticks to hit together while the Rockets shot free throws. Those and the little Jazz basketball we got him!
