Let's do something fun!

I got a text from Brady yesterday saying that maybe we could do something fun today.  I responded saying "YES, like what?".  A part of me just wanted Brady to write back saying Lagoon but I thought for sure he wouldn't, especially since it was Lagoon's opening day.  The text I got was "maybe Lagoon", I was so excited!
We were wondering how busy it would be for the opening day but it was perfect, barely any lines and the weather was great!!

Brady decided to take Bryson on the Tidal Wave for the first time!
Bryson LOVED it!
So much that he went on it three times!

Daddy trying to putt to win a large prize!
Brady said that he missed the hole by so much that it managed to get into another hole, one that wins a JUMBO prize!
Kendyl got to choose which color of bear she wanted!

Kendyl was a happy little girl! We got some great looks from everyone that saw her like this in the stroller.
I LOVE these kiddos of mine!
Daddy decided to ride the Samurai!

One last ride on the "Bombora" before we leave!
This was Bryson's third time of the day, he loves it.

Thanks for a fun, fun day Daddy!!
Instead of doing friend birthday party's this year we decided to get season passports to Lagoon, there is a lot more of Lagoon coming this year!

Eggs!

The night of my Relief Society Birthday dinner Brady made the kiddos some yummy scrambled eggs to eat.  So yummy that Bryson asks for eggs all the time.  So I decided to teach him how to make his own!
I will crack the eggs for him, but he knows where to get his bowl, how to stir the eggs, pour them into the pan.  He knows that he can hold the pan by the handle and not to touch anywhere that is hot.

He stirs his eggs in the pan.
Adds cheese!
Now he's the family egg chef!
I didn't think he could ask to eat eggs more than he already did, but now that he knows how to make them he asks double the amount of times.
He may turn into a chicken!

Kendyl's own cot

I noticed Kendyl playing in Bryson's cot and it occurred to me that she must not know that she had her own.  My Mom purchased them when we went to visit her for Christmas and we like them so much we brought them back with us.
I set up her cot in her room and she was pretty happy with her own little space she had!

Big helper!

Bryson has been a big helper with chores such as laundry and dishes.  Every time he sees me unloading the dishwasher, he quickly climbs up on the counter to help.  He is in charge of putting everything away that belongs in this cupboard!

This is the pose Bryson gave me when I wanted to take a picture for a job well done, I just LOVE this little guy!

Front row seat

Bryson brought his buzz camping chair upstairs!  When he saw that Kendyl wanted to sit in it too, he scooted over and patted the tiny space available for Kendyl to sit down.
Kendyl gladly took his offer!
It was a tight fit, but they were happy!

Daddy's girl

My first picture woke Daddy up but it's still worth another shot!

Britt's Birthday

Every Birthday that rolls around we always wonder how we can surprise our girlfriends.  Britt's actual birthday landed while she was out of town so the day of our arrival was already uncertain but we managed to pick her up at her sister-in-laws house while Britt was babysitting!  Surprise, surprise!
We had a fun dinner at Cafe Sabor!
(Thanks Britt & Rhonda for these pictures!)

Afterwards Britt and little Sailor came over to play at my house while our hubby's played some church ball!  It was so fun to spend some good quality time with her, since she moved away just a few short weeks later.  Love you Britt, we have many more memories ahead of us that's for sure!

In a rush!

All the tasks that have to be done just to get out the door can be very interesting.  We were on our way to Grandma and Grandpa's house for our weekly Sunday visit and Brady was eager to get going.
I was just making sure I got everyone ready...
shoes on the kids - Check
Change Kendyl's diaper- Check

Brady takes Bryson outside to the truck, starts the truck and is sitting waiting for us girls.  That's when I really have the feeling of urgency to not keep them waiting long.

Extra diapers in the diaper bag - check
My shoes on - check
Turn off the tv - check
Sippy's - check
Binky - check

Ok, ready to go..... Kendyl, where did Kendyl go.

Found her!
Yep, she was in no rush at all.
She always makes me laugh, and yes we took that much longer because I had to take pictures!

Glow in the dark bath!

The kiddos usually take baths in the morning but there are some advantages to taking one at night. I had left over glow in the dark bracelets from the Disney on Ice so I put them in the bathtub!

The kiddos loved it!

St. Patricks Day!

Bryson had a St. Patrick's Day party at school and he came home talking about Leprechauns and trying to catch one before it goes back to Leprechaun city.  He was even more excited when I mentioned that we can try to catch him at our house the night before St. Patrick's Day!
So we made a little trap before going to bed!
With non other than Lucky Charms as our bait!

The first thing Bryson always does each morning is head straight to go potty and he was shocked to see what was in the toilet...the leprechaun had definitely come and he must have used the potty.
The green potty quickly reminded Bryson about his trap!
Excited to see if he caught anything!

No Leprechaun here, but there was a note...

The Leprechaun ran off with the treats but left gold coins in it's place!

Chocolate gold coins!
When Kendyl woke up, Bryson was excited to tell her all about his adventures!

We started the morning off with a green bath!

The kiddos looking at the amount of water they always manage to get outside of the tub.
Then we had a breakfast of green pancakes and green eggs!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
