We were out on our balcony in the morning as we were pulling into Cabo! The ship passed "Los Arcos" and since Cabo did not have a dock for the cruise ships our ship dropped the anchors right there in the ocean.
Once we got cleared from the Mexican authorities we were able to start taking tender boats into Cabo!
We went to eat breakfast with the kiddos then we dropped Bryson off at the Oceaneer's club and Kendyl off at Flounder's nursery.
While the kids were playing on the boat Brady and I went to swim with dolphins! I have wanted to for so many years but have never done it, so I was excited that Brady decided to come along!
The facility was only a short walk from where the tenders dropped us off.
There were multiple groups of participants who each had their own trainer and dolphin. Our trainer was Marcos and Ukalai was the name of our female dolphin.
We were able to get in the water and have Ukalai swim around us!
Feeding her!
Dolphin kisses!
Ukalai was demonstrating the difference between how a dolphin and a shark swims. Ukalai swam away from us as she normally would swimming with her tail moving up and down through the water nice and smooth. Then swam back to us swimming from left to right like a shark, not smooth and splashing every where. It was so funny to see her swim like that!
Dolphin rides!!
We were given the option to hold onto her dorsal fin on her back or to ride on her belly.
We both chose to ride on her back!
Playing some games!
Ukalai doing the moon (water) walk!
So many teeth!
Then all the dolphins swam together to show off their tricks!
The trainers sent them off again to do what we thought were more tricks.
Instead they splashed us really good!
Then showed off some more!
Then they said good bye!
This was one of the funnest things I have ever done, it was so fun!
After we got dressed, Brady and I shopped a little bit for my Cabo magnet, cute mexican dresses for Kendyl, a shirt for Bryson and some vanilla to take back home. I really wanted to eat some good authentic Mexican food before getting back on the boat so we went to the well known Cabo Wabo!
We got back to the boat and went to get our kiddos!
This is how I found Kendyl.
This is how I found Kendyl.
Taking her second nap with non other than Minnie Mouse herself!
Bryson was more than happy to see us! He said he just wanted to be with me, oh I love that boy! We got back just in time to grab some candy from the room and head to the theatre to watch the new Muppet movie!
Although we were going to be in Cabo the next day, the ship still sailed away for the night.
Tonight was Pirate night!!!
Bryson with his cheese pizza, he ordered this almost every single night.
Alvito quickly learned that Bryson ate ketchup with everything, mickey mouse ketchup makes it even better!
What a sight she is!
