I have long waited for Bryson to be old enough to start this tradition and the time finally came! The tradition is to sleep next to the Christmas tree the very first night that we put it up. Except when I gave Bryson the option to sleep in his bed or by the tree, he chose his bed for two nights. Finally on the third night he chose to sleep under the Christmas tree!
I envisioned Bryson possibly not falling to sleep easily or at all, but I was wrong. The second we put our heads on our pillows we were out for the night and it was surprisingly really comfy!
