6 months!

Our little miss is six months old! I almost cannot picture what life used to be like before she joined our family! It's amazing how much personality she has without having the ability to speak. Her eyes are piercing, you cannot tell if she is simply looking at you or if she has a story to tell behind her stare.
She is a very happy little girl!
She has her quirks!
She still loves to be held by everyone and anyone!
Whatever it is that makes her, her. I am thankful for it, I wouldn't want her any other way!

Nativity

My Mom purchased this little set of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus for Bryson during Thanksgiving!

Our furnace had been having problems so while the service man was fixing it I thought it would be a good time for Bryson to paint the figurines!

The project kept Bryson occupied and he was having fun painting away.

If you can tell, his favorite color is red .... and it looks a tad bit scary, but this Momma loves it just the way it is!

Ornaments!

I have been getting an ornament each year for Bryson, one that represents something during the year for him. He has loved Mickey Mouse all year but there has also been another cartoon that he added to his favorites. Tom & Jerry, or "cat mouse" as Bryson would say. So when Bryson saw an ornament of Tom & Jerry he instantly wanted that one!

For Bryson's first Christmas ornament I had chosen one that held a picture of him and Santa Claus in it. So I thought it would be fitting to do the same for Kendyl's first Christmas ornament!

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'

This little lady has been learning new things!

Ho, Ho, Ho!

Every time I say "Ho, Ho, Ho", Bryson will respond "Santa Claus". All morning I kept telling him that we were going to see Santa and I asked him what he was going to tell him. He'd say he wanted "a jeep, Mickey Mouse, and golf stuff". I heard this over and over and over. So I took the kids to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas.
This was the closest Bryson got to Santa!
The second he saw Santa the stroller suddenly became his new best friend and he wasn't about to get off of it. He then realized that he had to go up and get a book and candy cane if he wanted one. So this is as close as it got, and I am sure Bryson's heartbeat was a pitter patter!
Next up - Kendyl
When I saw her look up at him, I thought for sure that was the end of Santa's visit.

Nope, she was good as gold!

So far it looks like Kendyl will be getting what she wants for Christmas! Now we need to write a letter to Santa to tell him what Bryson wants.

Oh Christmas tree!

I have long waited for Bryson to be old enough to start this tradition and the time finally came! The tradition is to sleep next to the Christmas tree the very first night that we put it up. Except when I gave Bryson the option to sleep in his bed or by the tree, he chose his bed for two nights. Finally on the third night he chose to sleep under the Christmas tree!
I envisioned Bryson possibly not falling to sleep easily or at all, but I was wrong. The second we put our heads on our pillows we were out for the night and it was surprisingly really comfy!

Thanksgiving

We spent our Thanksgiving in Phoenix with my Sister, her family and my parents. We enjoyed being in warmer weather! We were able to meet up with Brady's brother Brandon and his family for dinner which was fun to do! Brady and Brandon also had a chance to get out and go golfing one of the mornings. We had a great visit in Phoenix, great family time, good food and more memories! I didn't take many pictures, I must have been enjoying my time too much!
Kendyl and Juliana became good pals rather quickly. Kendyl loves being held and Juliana loves holding babies, they were a perfect match!
Kendyl and Ito (shortened name of Grandpa in Spanish)
Bryson & Ito playing soccer, you would have no idea that it was supposed to be soccer since Bryson is carrying the ball and running. He must get it from watching the Hokies!
