Happy LOVE Day!

I was really excited for Valentines Day this year! A group of friends got together to have dinner at the Elements restaurant. We were a party of 14 so we were given our own room which was so nice! The food was good and the company was an awesome way to celebrate!
When we got home we gave the kiddos their Valentines gifts!

Kendyl was so intrigued watching Bryson open his gift!

Balloons are always a big hit!

We ate jello and chocolate covered strawberries before calling it a night!

It was a pretty fun day!

We have sun!

We have had the best winter, any time that the snow melts enough to see grass is awesome! The good weather has allowed Bryson to be driving his jeep. He isn't the greatest driver so I have just been letting him drive in circles on the driveway. Brady decided that he'd give it another go at teaching Bryson how to drive!

It started off with Bryson not driving on the sidewalk.

Brady giving steering instruction.
Which always ends up in a mad dash to steer for him because he is only 3 feet away from hitting a fire hydrant! Since there hasn't been any more driving improvement, it was back to the circles in the driveway.
We did allow a passenger though!

Playing together

There hasn't been a whole lot of things that Bryson and Kendyl can do or play together, slowly but surely these kids will soon be having so much fun!

Valentines party!

We had a Valentines party at the church for the little kids! Bryson chose Toy Story for his valentines cards and he did a great job at getting them put together.

At the party the kids were able to decorate their boxes!

Kendyl just hung out!
My friend Tosha did such a great job on her daughter Chloe's box that Bryson was hesitant to put his valentine inside of it!
Checking out his loot!

Mr. Mustache man!

Kendyl experienced her first lollipop, YUM!

Green putty

Bryson received a little green egg that had green silly putty in it from a trip to Texas Roadhouse. I tried to keep extra tabs on it everytime Bryson asked to play with it to avoid it making a mess. As I was putting away toys before bed I came across the empty green egg and asked Bryson where the putty was. Of course I got the "I don't know" response. I looked for it a little bit hoping to find it so that it didn't dry out over night. I couldn't see it anywhere so I just let it go, knowing that I'd come across it sooner or later.
Well the next morning I found it.... and it certainly did not dry out that's for sure!

Good Morning Sissy!

Each morning starts with Bryson waking up first then he asks if Kendyl is still sleeping. He continues to ask if she is awake yet and the second he hears anything from her baby monitor he immediately says "Kendyl wake up"! He waits for permission to go get Kendyl, then he runs into her room to peak over into her crib and says "Good morning Sissy", over and over again.

Kendyl wakes up full of smiles!
Then Bryson joins Kendyl in her crib.
I look forward to this ritual every morning!

Bounce house!

Last week we visited a fun play center in Layton with our play group! There were bounce houses, an arcade, roller rink, jungle gym and more. All the kids had a blast!
Bryson almost reached the top of this big slide and decided that he didn't want to do it anymore. He wouldn't climb higher or climb down on his own so Kendyl and I had to come to the rescue.

My view of Kendyl, in the carrier.

This game could have lasted forever, Bryson would toss the ball and it wouldn't go far enough up the lane so it would come right back to him. You can kind of see a little bit of a ball he had tossed in this picture.
Notice that there is no street around and he is swiping the side of a fence with the car. It's a good thing Bryson has no idea that he drives horribly!
It was a fun day, both of the kids fell right to sleep on the way back home!
