50th Anniversary Mexico Trip!

To celebrate Brady's parents 50th Anniversary all of the adults when on a trip to Puerto Vallerta!!
All of the adults except for Acelyn that is! She was a lucky duck that got to take an awesome vacation since she was so young (and nursing) to leave behind!
The hotel was beautiful!  I try to take lots of pics of it so that I can remember!!

All of the Adults went on a romatic excursion that no babies were allowed so Brady, Acelyn and I decided to take a dip in the pool at sunset and went to dinner after!!
This was Acelyn's first time swimming in a pool!
A SUPER hilarious story about this picture above!!
Since it was the first time for Acelyn to go into the water I told Brady to be ready with the camera.  I entered the side of the pool where I assumed would be a gradual slope to get deeper. WRONG!  After like two steps it dropped, fast, and deep, like over my head deep.  So there I was with Acelyn trying to turn around and get back to the step as fast as I could.  Acelyn went underwater a little bit but was fine, but let me tell you the amount of things Brady made fun of me for it! I still get a good laugh about it cause those Knowles boys sure know how to reenact a funny moment.  I can still hear him saying "Hey make sure to be ready to take pictures of us drowning".  It was sooooo funny!!
I still can laugh until my stomach hurts every time I think about it!
Clearly the underwater mishap didn't traumatize her cause is she was with Daddy this time!

The talk of the group was how good the massages were outside the hotel down the street.  Although those massages are a good deal price wise, it's the whole atmosphere that I LOVE about spa's!!  Just being able to lounge around for hours apart from the massage is the best!!
This spa at the hotel revolved the most around water relaxation than any other I have been to!

After my early morning at the spa, we quickly changed and got down to the breakfast area with the rest of the siblings to surprise Myrna & Ernie with our 50th Anniversary shirts on!
Nothing like having your picture on everyone's shirts haha!
They were pretty surprised!!  Made up for the run around we all had to give them about us not coming out of our rooms until they finally went down to eat without us!  We couldn't let them see our shirts before we were all together!

It's not a Mexico vacation without the vendors!!
I was pretty excited and impressed to have gone swimming with wild dolphins!!
We have done the swim with the dolphins before in resorts, but this was such a different experience being out at sea!

Love this boy of mine!
Saw this boat in the Harbor that had my Mom's name on it!

Had to take pics of the bottled drinks that I remember so well from growing up!!  I tried to drink the bottles in the fridge every day so that they can get restocked when the maid came in!
This cute girl just lived in swim suites all day!
Speaking of vendors, I spotted a guy carrying fruit and he had hicama!!  This totally reminds me of my childhood and mainly my sister cause she loved it so much!!
Afternoon naps for Dad and Acelyn!

The hotel had an evening where they served yummy Mexican food and had mariachi's and dancers perform.  As I went to get dessert I spotted churro's that was a must then I saw a rice pudding that reminded me of what my Grandma used to make each time I came into town.  So I served myself some thinking that it probably wouldn't taste the same, but it did!!!  I hadn't had it in 5 years, it was delicious!!  Makes me miss my Grandma!
Of course we had to make it into town to visit the shops!!  I scored another Mexican blanket (love these), vanilla (a must) and my Puerto Vallerta magnet!  I get magnets for every location Brady and I visit!
There was a bridge we needed to cross and the husbands sure took advantage of trying to scare us ladies!

Had to take a pic of the popular arches since my magnet had them on it!
95% of my nutrition the whole trip were from yummy drinks!!
Acelyn got in the habit of just taking her naps when she needed to, right on the beach sounds like a great spot!
A nap makes a happy baby!

Brady managed to get some golfing in as well!!

We made our way to a restaurant that Brandon & Jamie had loved called Pipi's!
It was super yummy and they hand made the guacamole dip right at your table!

Had to take a pic of the common place we ate! The first time it's great, by the fourth time it's not so great haha!

This vendor made great money off of our family!!  He hand painted bowls, for chips, fruit, salsa etc. and most of us bought some to take home!  He had even made more and was at the beach to deliver them before we headed to catch our plane!

Before we knew it, it was time to go. So sad!

Just a couple of flights and we would be home again!
Such a fun trip!
