Game or movie?

We had an average Saturday of hanging out and right as the evening rolled around Brady was ready to watch his Lions play football.  Except I was ready to get out of the house so I asked Bryson if he'd like to go to the movies with me!
I gave him a couple of movie options and he was determined to go to the Stadium 8 theatre so we decided to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks!

It was such a cute movie!  It starts out with the Chipmunks boarding a cruise ship so that really excited Bryson!
They aren't exactly the same looking Chipmunks that I remember watching when I was little, but they were still cute.

These Chipmunks are what I was used to!
I was wondering if Kendyl would be upset that we left her behind, but it looks like our left over popcorn is just what she needed for her football game!

Two is better than one!

There is never a dull moment in this house!

Boys will be boys!

There are a few actions that Bryson does lately that make me laugh.
One of them is this stance he does of Buzz!
He stands so still that I wonder if he's also holding his breath, but the part that I love is how he stares up.  I love it so much that I have to just occasionally ask how Buzz stands, because I am afraid if he knew how much I liked seeing it, that he'd stop doing it.
This is the real Buzz doing it, I'd say that Bryson does a pretty good job imitating him.
Bryson can also do some sweet Iron Man poses too!

Nice weather

We have had great weather for it being January!
It didn't take long for the kiddos to get out and have a little fun while they could.  Cooper got a battery operated Ford truck for Christmas and all the kids decided to take it for a test drive!

I have a present for you!

I think the gift of giving is still fresh in Bryson's mind.  Very often he will come up to Brady or myself and say "I have a present for you".
He will put down his gift and excitedly wait for you to open it!
His gifts usually include some of his favorite possessions or in this case Brady's cell phone, but he is so excited to see how happy we are for the gift!
It puts a smile on my face every time I hear him say "I have a present for you"!

The camera...again?

My dearest Kendyl, you are in the middle of learning words and we are normally able to communicate pretty well (with or without words).  Except for the frustrating times when I am sure you are trying to say "help...get me out of here!", and what I hear is "hurry get the camera!".
I don't know how you get in the places you do, but they sure are pretty entertaining to see!

Don't worry my dear, I am sure I will get this communication thing down soon!

Rollin' around

Look who decided to give the new skates a try!  You didn't even wait to change out of your church clothes.

I used to skate a lot growing up and I hope you like it too Bryson!
