This picture is so funny to me! We were out for dinner and the service had taken a long time so Bryson's patience was running thin, he was ready to go. Bryson was leaning over Brady and was trying to get past him. I thought I was going to capture a picture of Bryson's antics and an unimpressed father, but I was laughing at the picture I got.

Let's go fly a kite!
Both of the kids received kites in their Easter baskets and I had been asked every day by Bryson to fly them. I kept telling him that it needed to be windy and very often while Bryson had his hand out of the car window he'd excitedly say that it was windy outside!
Well the day arrived that it was very windy, so out we went with the kites!

11 months old!
Tulips are Mommy's favorite flower and Kendyl turned 11 months old right during their bloom! Kendyl is a crawling machine and is pulling herself up to everything these days. She absolutely loves her baths, loves cookies, the remote, and everything else that she shouldn't be playing with! She loves to share, point and carry on conversations in her own language "Kendyl-ese". She is at such a fun age, we love her so, so much!

Good times!
One of my new habits is to make sure that nothing is in the way of letting Bryson see Kendyl in the car. If I forget I will hear "I wanna see sissy", over and over until I reach back to move the car seat cover out of the way. I often hear both of them giggling back there and on this day it started before I even left the house so I was able to see what they were up to!

Let the games begin!
It has already started!
There are interesting games that occur each summer between two of our neighbors directly across the street and us. To clarify it's the guys that take part in all of it. There is no names for the games or rules for that matter, but the point is that if the guys get home from work and do not notice anything out of the ordinary than they better keep an eye open at all times. There have been snakes in the mail boxes, balls being taped to the top peaks of homes and who knows what else!

Car fun!
"I want my window down."
If I had a penny for every time I have heard Bryson say that I'd be rich! It could be snowing, raining, windy or anything else and Bryson will still be asking. Lucky for him it is getting nice outside, so his wishes are granted. Now I get glimpses of a little hand sticking out of the car!

Out of the ordinary
I always put Bryson in the seat of the shopping cart and Kendyl in her car seat. I was in the middle of a Walmart trip and both kids were not being very patient, so I swapped their seating arrangements. They thought it was great! So did I, since I got to finish my shopping.

Straws!
Bryson has been taught the art of blowing straw wrappers at someone. This is what he looks like very soon after we get seated at restaurants, and if you aren't quick to unwrap your own straw he will do the honors for you!
Good Morning!
Bryson made a bird feeder at his friend Sailor's birthday party yesterday. We hung it on the tree in the backyard and this morning I woke up to the sound of birds outside my window. It was a great way to wake up!

Swim lessons
Bryson's preschool (that he will start in September) includes both swim classes and gymnastics, so I enrolled Bryson into a swim class so that he can get an idea of what is ahead. He is pretty funny to watch!
His instructor Kaitlyn, is also one of the swim instructors for the preschool so she may be his permanent instructor come September!
High Five!

Backyard fun!
Sunny days have been few and far between these days, but when the sun happens to shine the kids can be found in the backyard!
